The « bariolages », a favourite bow technics for stringed instruments, is the generative idea of this piece. It is in their agitated volutes that we can hear the fifth strings singins at the beginning. The slow shower of harmonics is then their quiet development. They are also the source of the title as their movement is not without evoking the swirling gentleness of the wind. As for the shape of the work, it is a discret tribute to the author of a certain 6th Suite…
