Palmyre : a radical Islamic group kidnaps a western journalist who took officially the identity of a famous singer of Syrian origin. Condemned to have the clear-cut head if no ransom is paid, the young hostage understands that it is no use to beg. Facing her executioner, she remembers Princess Shéhérazade and make up one thousand one stories in order to delay her punishment.
